With the DEFT 8.0, we are sending a brilliant E-Enduro into the race this year, which in no way has to shy away from direct comparison with sinfully expensive competitors. Is it the high-quality Fox suspension? Or the high-quality Shimano XT groupset? Or the overall package, powered by Bosch's latest drive unit? There are many reasons, that much is certain! With the Fox 38 from the Performance series, you have an incredibly comfortable fork at your side with the FIT GRIP 3-Pos. Whether a loyal companion on long mountain tours or a savior in distress on fearsome descents: together with the potent Fox Float X Performance shock, you benefit from the know-how of the suspension specialists from California on every ride. If you're going fast, you also need to be able to decelerate quickly. This is where we put our full trust in the classic brakes from the traditional brand Magura. With four pistons front and rear, the Magura MT5 is one of the most popular brakes on the market and not only offers brute braking power - it can also always be finely modulated to guarantee the right balance of deceleration and traction in every situation. The lightweight SUNringlé Düroc SD37 Expert comes with a 32mm rim width and, together with the grippy combination of Maxxis Assegai at the front and Maxxis Minion DHR II at the rear, forms the trio that reliably keeps you on course. With the soft MaxxGrip rubber compound and lightweight EXO+ carcass at the front for ultimate grip and the slightly harder MaxxTerra compound and durable Double Down carcass, you will not only have fun trail surfing - defects and punctures can also be minimized. The Shimano 1x12 derailleur from the DEORE and XT series shifts at lightning speed and is one of the benchmarks in terms of durability. With the DEFT frame, you are up to date - not only visually, but also technically. The integration of the new Bosch Performance CX Gen.5 means in plain language that the frame is equipped for all current (and future) Bosch features. Not only has the drive unit been completely redeveloped and elegantly integrated into the DEFT frame, but the revised down tube now also offers space for the mighty 800 Wh Powertubes. Range en masse and enough reserves on board even in cold temperatures or turbo uphills. We have remained true to our striking wing design, which elegantly connects the down tube with the top tube, ensures stability and at the same time accommodates the Trunnion mount for the rear suspension. Also still on board: cable routing through the headset with block-lock function, UDH derailleur hanger and integrated speed sensor for a maximum clean look.
