The SLIDE TRAIL AL 7.0 is once again setting off price-performance fireworks in the new season and is on the starting line technically unchanged, but with a new look. Technically, the aluminum trail bike impresses with a great chassis, consisting of a RockShox Lyrik Select suspension fork with 150 mm travel and a RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock with 140 mm travel. The suspension makes your trail heart beat faster and offers sensitive response and yet enough reserves in case things get rough. The Race Face Chester series handlebars and stem form the cockpit of the SLIDE, are ergonomically shaped and give you an immediate feeling of security. This is also ensured by the Magura MT Thirty Custom brakes with their 4-piston caliper at the front, which bring you reliably and powerfully to a stop when the trail chase gets too wild. A sensibly tuned 12-speed drivetrain from Shimano, consisting of parts from the DEORE and SLX groupset, transmits the power to Schwalbe's legendary Nobby Nic tires in Addix Speedgrip rubber compound with Super Ground carcass, which are mounted on solid SUNringlé Düroc 35 wheels. For the contact points, we rely on the Thrice grip and the legendary Bel Air V3 saddle from SDG. The great overall package is rounded off by a dropper seatpost for full freedom of movement on your rides. SLIDE TRAIL AL 7.0 - pure trail fun at a low price!

The modern frame geometry of the SLIDE TRAIL AL is similar to the carbon version. The flat steering angle and steep seat angle offer a range of uses. The ultimate flip chip allows you to adjust the geometry to suit only you, so that you experience the optimum riding fun! Our trail machine provides you with 29 inch wheels in combination with 150mm travel at the front and 140mm at the rear. This makes it easy to master any trail. There are no limits to speed, because the geometry focuses on smoothness and stability.

RADONS SLIDE TRAIL 10.0 HD kommt nicht nur mit Carbon-Hauptrahmen, die Bonner statten ihr All-Mountain-Flaggschiff für den Preis von 4429 € auch unverschämt gut aus, etwa mit Fox-Factory-Federelementen oder DT-Carbon-Laufrädern. Auch mit Blick auf die anderen „Direktvertriebler“ in diesem Test, hat das SLIDE ausstattungstechnisch die Nase vorn.

There are couple of things on the SLIDE TRAIL 9.0 that would normally prevent it from getting a perfect 10 rating, but everything seems to have fallen into place. It doesn’t have a full carbon frame, yet it’s the lightest bike. The BB height doesn’t seem to stack up either, but the ride is dialled. We’ve even grown to like the JPS colour scheme. As with most direct-sales brands, RADON delivers a lot of bike for the money.
