The price-performance top model of the SLIDE TRAIL series remains the SLIDE TRAIL 10.0 for the 2022 season - the basis is the lightweight and solid carbon frame, which releases a comfortable 140 mm of travel at the chainstay. At the front, the sublime Fox 36 Float Factory suspension fork with Kashima coating, which is beyond reproach, does its thing and releases its 150 mm of sporty-firm travel. It is complemented at the rear by the brand new Float X Factory shock, which also shines with the friction-minimized Kashima coating and provides a balanced suspension in conjunction with the fork. A SRAM Eagle groupset with X01 rear derailleur, with the enormous range of the 10-52 tooth large cassette, provides the right gear ratio in any terrain. The forward momentum is braked on request with the strong G2 RS four-piston brake from the same company. We achieve full control over the trail with the cockpit from RaceFace, consisting of the short Æffect R stem and the wide and comfortable Æffect riser. In addition, the SDG Tellis vario support offers plenty of freedom of movement on the trail and also accommodates the comfortable Bel Air V3 saddle, which ensures sufficient comfort even on epic tours. The perfect Enduro package is completed by the lightweight and stable Newmen Evolution SL A.30 wheelset, which allows the grippy Maxxis Minion tires with their rim width of 30 mm to show their strengths perfectly. The SLIDE TRAIL 10.0 rocks!

The frame geometry of the SLIDE TRAIL, with its flat handlebars and steep seat angle, is modern and has been optimised for fun rides. Flip chip has been integrated into the back, allowing adjustment of the handlebars and seat angle to suit you. Our SLIDE TRAIL comes with 29" wheels, with 150 mm of travel in front, and 140 mm at the rear. This bike can curve swiftly round any bend, and flies enthusiastically over the trails. In high speed stages it lies deeply on the trail, and its very smooth running makes it highly trustworthy during downhill legs.

RADONS SLIDE TRAIL 10.0 HD kommt nicht nur mit Carbon-Hauptrahmen, die Bonner statten ihr All-Mountain-Flaggschiff für den Preis von 4429 € auch unverschämt gut aus, etwa mit Fox-Factory-Federelementen oder DT-Carbon-Laufrädern. Auch mit Blick auf die anderen „Direktvertriebler“ in diesem Test, hat das SLIDE ausstattungstechnisch die Nase vorn.

There are couple of things on the SLIDE TRAIL 9.0 that would normally prevent it from getting a perfect 10 rating, but everything seems to have fallen into place. It doesn’t have a full carbon frame, yet it’s the lightest bike. The BB height doesn’t seem to stack up either, but the ride is dialled. We’ve even grown to like the JPS colour scheme. As with most direct-sales brands, RADON delivers a lot of bike for the money.
