Our all-purpose weapon becomes more competition-oriented with the SLIDE TRAIL 10.0 HD model and is aimed at all enduro riders who like to go shredding with a race number on their back. All parts here are uncompromisingly trimmed for Enduro. From Fox comes the top suspension fork 36 Float Factory with FIT GRIP2 cartridge and extra travel - 160 mm are available, which is 10 mm more than on the rest of the model range. Matching this is the current Float X shock, of course also from the Fox Factory range and thus in the noble and golden shimmering Kashima Coating, which already visually indicates extremely sensitive response. With a chassis like this, the rest of the components should also only come from the top shelves of the suppliers. For example, an X01 Eagle shifting system from SRAM - precise enough to be able to shift into the right gear at lightning speed, even on surprisingly steep ramps. The stable yet very light Newmen Advanced SL A.30 carbon wheels, which are fitted with high-grip Maxxis DHF / DHR II tires in a soft rubber compound and with puncture protection, are particularly helpful in tough and technical uphill passages. On the descent, the SLIDE TRAIL 10.0 HD manoeuvres nimbly around obstacles and is super smooth when the speed is high. Magura's four-piston MT7 brake is a real anchor. It develops enormous power and at the same time can be used in a wonderfully controlled manner. When the trail gets steep and technical, the Fox Transfer Factory variable support comes into play. The entire cockpit is designed for ergonomics and control. A comfortably wide and short Race Face Turbine R stem/handlebar combo, combined with tried and tested grips from SDG and a matching BelAir V3 saddle offer the rider first-class contact points with the bike - and thus additional safety at full speed. Frame
The frame geometry of the SLIDE TRAIL, with its flat handlebars and steep seat angle, is modern and has been optimised for fun rides. Flip chip has been integrated into the back, allowing adjustment of the handlebars and seat angle to suit you. Our SLIDE TRAIL comes with 29" wheels, with 160 mm of travel in front, and 140 mm at the rear. This bike can curve swiftly round any bend, and flies enthusiastically over the trails. In high speed stages it lies deeply on the trail, and its very smooth running makes it highly trustworthy during downhill legs.

RADONS SLIDE TRAIL 10.0 HD kommt nicht nur mit Carbon-Hauptrahmen, die Bonner statten ihr All-Mountain-Flaggschiff für den Preis von 4429 € auch unverschämt gut aus, etwa mit Fox-Factory-Federelementen oder DT-Carbon-Laufrädern. Auch mit Blick auf die anderen „Direktvertriebler“ in diesem Test, hat das SLIDE ausstattungstechnisch die Nase vorn.

There are couple of things on the SLIDE TRAIL 9.0 that would normally prevent it from getting a perfect 10 rating, but everything seems to have fallen into place. It doesn’t have a full carbon frame, yet it’s the lightest bike. The BB height doesn’t seem to stack up either, but the ride is dialled. We’ve even grown to like the JPS colour scheme. As with most direct-sales brands, RADON delivers a lot of bike for the money.
