You can recharge the battery either directly in the bike via the charging port, or you can remove the battery in a few seconds via the flap under the down tube and take it home to charge. The components are all geared toward comfort, starting with the FOX 34 AWL Float Sport suspension fork with its 100mm of responsive travel and 34mm-thick stanchions, which can handle even a detour off-road with ease. For the drivetrain, we’ve chosen an electronic Shimano XT Di2 system—absolute precision, smooth shifting without exerting force, and a wide range of gears for every climb await you. The brakes also come from Shimano’s iconic XT groupset; the BR-M8120 calipers, with their four pistons, provide either finely modulated or brutally powerful stopping power as needed. At the points of contact with the bike, we’ve fitted ergonomic components from Acid; for the saddle, we’ve chosen the comfortable Sequence 180, and your hands rest comfortably on the Travel Comfort grips. Low-resistance Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency tires, which provide a springy ride thanks to their volume, round out the comfort package. On long rides, the powerful Busch & Müller IQ-XS light front light also supports you. Of course, effective fenders and a sturdy luggage rack from Acid are included.
