The RECAP’s full-carbon frame stands out not only for its light weight, seamless integration of the motor and battery, and adjustable steering angle, but also for its elegant lines and sleek design. Speaking of looks: our chief designer calls the ultra-cool color of the RECAP 9.0 “Crustydemon.” And it’s a perfect match for this powerhouse, which features the latest Bosch Performance CX drive with 100 Nm of torque and up to 750 watts of power. Hidden within the lightweight carbon frame is a 600Wh Powertube battery, which makes even long rides effortless—if you’re planning an extra-long ride, you can easily mount the optional Bosch Powermore 250 range extender for a total capacity of 850Wh. For a complete overview, we’ve elegantly integrated the Kiox 400C display into the top tube, giving you a clear view of all key activity data throughout your ride. The suspension from the FOX Performance Elite series, with 150mm of travel at both the front and rear, delivers maximum comfort and control even on demanding terrain. Both the FOX Float Performance Elite fork with GripX2 cartridge and the Float X Performance Elite shock offer endless adjustment options to achieve the perfect setup for your weight and individual riding style. The electronic SRAM GX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain—which is powered directly by the built-in battery—also helps you out with the enormous range of the 10-52T cassette: whether you’re on flat terrain, on a fast downhill run, or tackling the steepest climb, you’ll always have the right gear for the job! The Shimano XT BR-M8220 brakes with four pistons and large rotors give you full control on the trail—with minimal hand force, you can apply precise braking or throw the brakes wide open when necessary. The Raceface cockpit, featuring an 800mm-wide Turbine handlebar with 40mm rise and the RADON Competition V2 dropper post, also supports you during wild moves on the trail. Last but not least, the tire choice supports agile cornering; here, the Schwalbe Magic Mary/Albert combination, with its soft rubber compound and Radial technology, provides sufficient grip and safety at all times and on any slope. The tires are mounted on lightweight NEWMEN Beskar 30 rims and can perform perfectly with a 30mm rim width. The RECAP 9.0 is your partner on the trail!
