Last year premiere, this year already a classic - the DEFT 9.0 750 caused quite a stir at last year's launch and still inspires us when it's time for an after-work ride. With the latest generation Bosch Performance CX drive unit including Smart System you have the currently most powerful Bosch drive on board. Thanks to the modular system you have countless combination options regarding displays and control units. A massive 85Nm of torque and up to 340% pedal assistance let you fly up the mountain or provide light modulating support - four riding modes are available. Understatement pure out of the box: with the Bosch Mini Remote you have a clean solution in conjunction with the Bosch System Controller integrated into the top tube so you can fully concentrate on trail surfing. To have enough power for extended trail tours, we equipe our DEFT 9.0 with the large 750Wh Powertube battery - elegantly integrated into the down tube. The modern carbon main frame allows a suspension travel of 170mm at the front and rear. At the front, the Fox 38 Performance Elite fork with FIT GRIP2 cartridge is always by your side. Thanks to the revolutionary design of the GRIP2 cartridge, all damping parameters are independently adjustable. High- and low-speed rebound bring control for every rider's weight, the tuning options of the high- and low-speed compression are widely adjustable to any riding style. The Fox Float X Performance Elite 2-Pos. rear shock convinces even in the toughest terrain. For shifting, we rely on a mix of SRAM's 12-speed NX and GX Eagle series. The large 10-52 teeth cassette offers you a huge range with crisp shifting and an extremely high reliability. If you ever need to catch the braking point in fast passages, you can fully rely on the biting Magura MT5 brake with four pistons at the front and rear - fine dosing and extreme stablility on steep trails have made this brake the favorite of many customers in recent years. The SUNringlé Düroc SD37 Expert wheelset with 32mm inner rim width accommodates the Maxxis Assegai at the front and the Maxxis DHR II at the rear - one of THE tire combos in the enduro sector with grip en masse in all conditions. So that the trail fun reaches the maximum, we install a dropperpost and a chic Race Face Turbine R cockpit. With the DEFT 9.0 750 you have already found your dream bike!

Frame
The DEFT frame is an absolute feast for the eyes and is technically equipped with the latest refinements. With 170mm travel at the front and rear, we not only offer a thoroughbred E-Enduro, but also enormous reserves on the trail and thus ensure a lot of riding fun. The clean look is ensured by the cables and lines that are completely routed through the headset. It also has a block-lock function, which prevents consequential damage in the event of a fall. The wing-like cover, which connects the top and down tube, not only looks good, but is also an absolute technical highlight. Both the carbon main frame and the Trunnion shock mount provide a lot of stiffness and stability. As with the RENDER, the lower shock mount also provides part of the rocker, which gives the frame unique kinematics and particularly high rear end stability. The 750Wh large battery is integrated into the down tube by means of a cartridge, which ensures quiet riding and a wobble-free fit. The battery can be removed quickly and easily thanks to a rubberised cover that closes off the down tube. The battery can be charged without removing it via the charging socket on the seat tube. The rear derailleur is mounted on the new, manufacturer-independent standardised UDH hanger, and the speed sensor is elegantly integrated into the brake disc and chain stay, making the classic spoke magnet a thing of the past.

Wir konnten das langhubige E-Enduro auf unseren Hometrails und vertrauten Teststrecken bei Bad Kreuznach und Bamberg probefahren und haben uns einen ersten Eindruck verschaffen können.
