The drivetrain of the Radon ZR Team 29 7.0 consists of high quality, long lasting Shimano Deore components ensuring comfort for every ride at an affordable price. The Rock Shox Recon SA air spring delivers excellent shock absorption at a low weight compared to steel coil models and can be easily adjusted to the rider`s weight. 32mm upper tubes provide stiffness and control. This holds true as well Mavic´s Crossride wheels and Shimanos hydr. discbrake.

Not every XC rider is as addicted to riding as we are. But that doesn’t mean they want to ride suspension that’s “casual”. So we created the Recon. The Recon is a singletrack force to be reckoned with. The solo-air chamber makes it possible to adjust the pressure of the positive- and negative-chamber at the same time. If you happen to hit a big rock when you have your fork locked out, TurnKey’s patented blow-off design takes the bullet for you, absorbing the unexpected hit instantly. When you think about it, it’s kind of noble.
The Shimano XT rear derailleur offers a great shifting performance and precise adjusting possibilities. With a weight of only 234g it’s also light-weight! Unmistakeable: the unique “X”-design. The Shadow technology makes the rear derailleur extra narrow.
In our beginner range we use reliable components with a good performance and a moderate price. One of these components is the Shimano Altus disc brake. The brake provides a lot of braking power, giving you the opportunity to ride safe and brake quickly, whenever the situation demands. The brakes are easy to bleed; Shimano uses the hydraulic system with mineral oil, which is non-poisonous for the environment and insensitiv in difficult circumstances.
The access to the Mavic mountain bike performance and identity! Entry level at Mavic always means quality, efficiency and reliability. Completely endorsed by the Crossride - an incredible value ! Specific hubs and rims make it the lightest entry level mountain bike wheelset. New consistent graphic approach.
Just a few years ago, hardtail 29ers belonged into an exotic niche. These days they are the common bike configuration for seasoned riders as well as beginners. After all, this comes at little surprise as the large 29-inch wheels offer noticeable improved traction, roll over obstacles more easily, and provide a smoother ride. In 2015, the ZR Team 29er series came with a completely new designed aluminum frame, which is built following the latest specifications. The Radon Conehead steerer tube allows for tapered forks. Internally routed cables give the bike a clean look. Thanks to the 30.9mm seat tube, the bike can later be refitted with an adjustable seat-post. In summary: A perfect entry-ticket into the world of fast 29er mountain bikes!back to overview
