UCI DH World Cup #3 - Leogang

18.06.2018

Back to back World Cup races are always a spectacle for every fan of downhill racing. For the riders it is a test of strengh and stamina. The RADON BIKES crew is happy with another strong performance by Factory Rider Faustin Figaret, who is now sitting on 28th position in the overall standings.

Johannes Fischbach wasn't able to step up his game and to compete on raceday, after not qualifying for it. His performance in the qualifying was not enough, ranking only 85th.

Faustin Figaret:

"Hello,

the Downhill MTB World Cup stopped last weekend in Leogang, Austria. The track was slightly different from last year. The upper part was more natural with slopes in the grass and sequences of turns. Then we borrowed a typical bike park part with a long raise and big jumps to finish in roots and loose dirt.

The weekend went very well, the team provided exceptional work and my lap times continued to progress. I qualified 25th and finished 29th in the final. My sensations have been good all week and I am very happy with my final run.

My regularity allowing me to be currently 28th in the World Cup overall."
