Radon’s own Rapheala Richter takes the overall at the SSES

At the age of only 17 years, Radon Factory Enduro rider, Raphaela Richter, takes the overall win in the ELITE category, of the high anticipated, “Specialized SRAM Enduro Series”.

The Specialized SRAM Enduro Series are the most important mountainbike enduro Series, next to the Enduro World Series. With 6 stops around Europe, starting in Riva del Garda ITA in May and finishing it off at Leogang AUT in October. The overall winner of the series truly can say he/she has been the most fastest and most constant rider of the 2016 season.

With wins in Schoneck & Treuchtlingen and Podiums at all the other events she started, Raphaela and her Radon Slide 160 bike have shown to be a perfect match. Last weekend in Leogang, during the last stop of the SSES, Raphaela had some bad luck. A flat front tire at stage 4 spoilt the party, but Rapha still managed to get on the box with a 3rd place.

This is what our youngstar hat to say after the her race in Leogang:

“Well the race didn’t go as planned. A flat tired in the beginning of stage 4 forced me to take it easy on this stage, I sure lost over a minute. At stage 5 i also had to take it easy, somehow my front tire was still loosing air, so i couldn’t really push in the turns as i wanted to. To be honest i really had “Bockaufballern” this weekend and was feeling great on the bike. My 3rd place in Leogang still was enough to take the overall, which made me a very,vey happy girl!"
