Stop #8 of the Enduro World Series in Finale Ligure Italy

This weekend was the 8th and last stop of the Enduro World Series. After traveling around the globe it all came down to this last race in Finale Ligure Italy.
Finale Ligure is well known for the Radon Magura Factory team riders. James Shirley is more or less a local, and Raphaela knows the trails from earlier training camps with the team.Raphaela smashed the U21 field by winning 6 out of 7 special stages. She took home the win and more important the Enduro World Series overall title.

Raphaela Richter:“I can’t believe it, i am a World Champion! At the last stage a was so nervous, i knew i just had to bring it down to the finish line, to take the win and the overall, so happy it worked out.I would like to thanks the whole Radon Magura Factory Team, specially James for the good care and of course my pink baby the Radon Slide 160 to bring me home save all season :)”

James Shirley:"Saturday’s racing was great, long technical DH stages. I was really happy with my set-up.I am building more and more confidence in the Radon Swoop170.Sunday was a really physical day, lost a bit of time to my rivals but pulled it back again on the final and most difficult stage. In the end am very pleased with my riding this weekend and stoked to see Rapha take her well deserved title."
That’s a wrap for this season! We will be back soon with some exciting news for 2017!
We would like to thank all our partners for their support, we couldn’t have done it without you, THANKS!
