While developing the Radon Trekking line we always kept in mind that these are bikes which have to meet the manifold demands of the probably biggest group of buyers on the entire bike market. In times of rising energy costs and environmental awareness, the trekking market has turned into a growth-torpedo, due to the fact that only trekking bikes provide the wide range of operations which are needed to replace the car or public transport. But just like the demand increases, so do the expectations set on trekking. Our numerous first ranks in tests in trade magazines prove, that we notably meet these expectations with our trekking lines. We equip the bike with easy going high-quality dérailleurs. In contrast to city bikes with exhausting gear hubs, they are ideally suited for long distances to work, school or training. Anybody who rides regularly in autumn and winter knows how important a reliable lighting system is. That is why all our bikes are equipped with high-end headlamps and hub dynamos. Furthermore, the use of the bike as a "drudge" is already considered in the design of the frame. Wall thickness and pipe diameter take into account this special force allocation. In combination with the solid carriers that allow for a problem-free attachment of saddle-bags and rear stands from Hebie, which are screwed directly to the drop-out, we thought of everything.
