Andreas Sieber sensationally finishes as Germany's runner-up champion on Radon Slide DH!

Just in time for the apex of the season Team Radon's Factory DH racer Andi Sieber shows what he is made of and wins the silver medal at the German Downhill Championship in Rittershausen.

On Saturday Andi had already shown that he is was in perfect shape by gaining the pole position in the qualifying. Thanks to the excellent support by Radon developer Bodo Probst Sieber's Radon Slide DH prototype teambike with its 210mm spring deflection had a perfect setup.

The racetrack which had dried out completely due to extreme temperatures lasting all weekend showed extremely worn-out root mats on the slopes making flowing runs impossible even for the best racers. In the Men's Elite Finals on Sunday afternoon Germany's thirteenfold champion Markus Klausmann gained the Hot Seat with his fabulous run of 2 minutes and 43.781 seconds. Andi who started last was toppled by a root on the slope and missed a result of 2 minutes and 44.583 seconds by only 0.8 seconds.
